Ziegler's Charcoal House and Boom Boom Room stood as Lansing, Michigan's gateway to midcentury Polynesian escapism. Opening in the 1960s, it gave a Midwest college town a taste of tiki culture at its American peak. Some restaurants just fed you, but Ziegler's transported you somewhere else entirely. Part of our Vintage Tiki collection, celebrating the defunct golden era bars of yesteryear.
