St. Louis Terriers joined the upstart Federal League in 1914, challenging the Cardinals and Browns for the city's baseball loyalty. Two brief seasons gave St. Louis a third major league club. After the league folded in 1915, the Terriers vanished, but their defiance of baseball's old guard left a lasting mark. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
