Kirksville's Osteopaths took the field in 1911 as part of the Missouri State League, a Class D club rooted in the town that birthed osteopathic medicine itself. Named for the discipline taught at the local college, they carried a community's identity into every game. Some teams represent a city, but this one represented a movement. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
