Monterey Park's beloved tiki bar on North Potrero Grande Drive was a midcentury escape into Polynesian fantasy. Opening during the tiki craze of the 1960s, it gave the San Gabriel Valley its own taste of the South Pacific. Places like this turned a simple evening out into something transportive, and the neighborhood never forgot it. Part of our Vintage Tiki collection, celebrating the defunct golden era bars of yesteryear.
