Dobbs' Drive-In stood at Larkin and Eddy in San Francisco, a mid-century gathering spot where carhops and cocktails defined a night out. Operating through the 1950s, its Boomerang Room lounge gave the neighborhood a place to unwind. Drive-ins like this were rituals of a generation, not just restaurants.
