Akron's Rubbernecks took the diamond in 1906, carrying the name of the rubber capital of the world. Ohio minor league ball in that era was a proving ground for small industrial cities. Teams like these meant everything to the folks in the stands, long before the majors came calling. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
The Details:
Arched navy serif text reads "RUBBERNECKS" above a large distressed red script letter "R" centered as the primary graphic.
