Andre's of Beverly Hills served continental cuisine on Wilshire Boulevard during an era when dining meant dressing up and staying late. Operating from the 1950s through the golden age of Beverly Hills supper clubs, it represented a standard of elegance the city was still building its reputation around. Some restaurants fed a neighborhood. Andre's helped define one.
