Sardi's stood at the legendary corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine, a gathering place for the entertainment industry from the 1930s onward. In a neighborhood defined by ambition and stardom, it became a trusted dinner institution for Hollywood's working class and elite alike. Some restaurants fed a city, but Sardi's fed a culture.
