Club Mayfair stood at Flagler and 18th Avenue in Miami, a nightclub that burned bright through the 1940s and 1950s. South Florida's postwar boom brought waves of tourists hungry for music, dancing, and late nights. Mayfair gave them exactly that, a stage where performers and the subtropical heat made every evening feel electric.
