Opened in 1965 inside the Sheraton-Cleveland Hotel, the Kon Tiki was part of the famed chain of Polynesian restaurants created by Stephen Crane. It featured dramatic tiki décor, flaming cocktails, and island-themed dining right in the heart of downtown Cleveland. The location closed in the late 1970s, ending its tropical run as tastes changed and the tiki craze faded. This design is inspired by vintage defunct tiki and Polynesian inspired establishments of yesteryear. Printed on our super soft 100% ringspun & combed cotton women's T-Shirt.
