La Villa Taxco held court on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles for decades, serving authentic Mexican cuisine rooted in deep tradition. Opening in the mid-20th century, it carried the namesake of Taxco, Mexico's famed silver city. Generations of regulars treated it less like a restaurant and more like a second home. Part of our Vintage Restaurant collection, celebrating the classic American menus of yesteryear.
The Details:
Golden-yellow decorative border with scalloped top edge and ornamental curled bottom detail frames the composition. White slab-serif text reads "La VILLa" above larger "TAXCO," with cursive golden-yellow script reading "Mexican Restaurant" centered below. White text reads "LOS ANGELES" to the left, "4444 SUNSET BLVD" arched in the center, and "CALIFORNIA" to the right along the bottom.
