Rogers fielded a Class D club in the Arkansas-Missouri League starting in 1936, bringing organized baseball to a small northwest Arkansas town that lived and breathed the game. Those summer nights under the lights gave Rogers something larger than itself to rally around. Some towns remember their teams long after the last out is recorded. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
The Details:
Arched golden-orange text reads "ROGERS, ARKANSAS" above large outlined lettering reading "LIONS." A vintage cartoon lion head wearing a small baseball cap, rendered in golden-orange with an open snarling mouth, sits centered below, flanked by "ESTD 1936" and "CLASS D CLUB" with small decorative stars. Below, bold text reads "BASEBALL" over "ARKANSAS-MISSOURI LEAGUE."
