Salinas Packers took the field in 1954, rooted in the agricultural heart of California's Salinas Valley. A community built on packing sheds and harvest seasons found something of its own identity on the diamond. Baseball and farming were inseparable there, and the club belonged to the people who filled the stands.
Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
