Los Angeles baseball history stretches back further than most fans realize. The Angelenos competed in the Southern California League starting in 1899, years before the city became a major league town. They were part of the foundation that made Los Angeles a baseball city long before the Dodgers ever headed west. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
The Details:
Red arched serif text reads "SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA LEAGUE" above "BASEBALL CLUB" flanked by small red stars, with "LOS ANGELES," in black block letters below. A distressed black vintage illustration of a batter mid-swing occupies the center, with red uniform accents, overlaid by large red cursive script reading "Angelenos" with a swoosh tail.
