Anaheim's Aces took the field in 1941 as a Class C California League club. Organized baseball arrived in a city still decades away from the big leagues. Before the Angels put Anaheim on the map, small-town minor league teams like the Aces were the soul of Southern California's diamond culture. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
