Long Beach's Barracudas joined the Western Baseball League in 1995, part of a wave of independent ball clubs chasing the dream outside affiliated baseball. Playing along the Southern California coast, they carried the scrappy spirit of minor league towns where the game still felt close enough to touch.
Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
The Details:
