San Bernardino's Kittens prowled the Southern California League in 1913, a Class D club in an era when minor league baseball stitched small cities together. Nestled in the Inland Empire, the team gave working families a reason to gather on summer evenings. Clubs like these rarely lasted long, but they planted baseball's roots deep in California soil. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
