San Carlos Bowl was an old school bowling alley that was located at 850 El Camino Real in San Carlos, California. From the family... "We first opened up in January 1949. When my father Carl DeBarbrie and his brother Frank DeBarbrie opened the center it was 12 lanes and we had pin boys who would set the pins up. In 1955 we added 4 more lanes and put in automatic pinsetters. In 1978 we put in the AMF Automatic Scorers and in 1988 we installed the Brunswick synthetic lanes. My mom and aunt retired in 1996 and we sold our center. It is no longer a bowling center."
