Schabers Cafeterias served families across Los Angeles and North Hollywood from the mid-twentieth century, when cafeteria dining was woven into the rhythm of everyday life. Starting in the 1940s, places like Schabers gave working families a dignified meal at an honest price. They were neighborhood anchors, not just restaurants. Part of our Vintage Restaurant collection, celebrating the classic American menus of yesteryear.
The Details:
