Asbury Park's Sea Urchins took the field in 1914 as part of New Jersey's Atlantic League. Along the Shore, baseball wasn't just a pastime, it was woven into the rhythm of boardwalk summers. Working families filled those bleachers, binding themselves to rituals that outlasted the teams themselves. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
The Details:
Arched white hand-lettered text reads "ASBURY PARK" across the top, curving above a central baseball marked with red stitching and the words "ATLANTIC LEAGUE." Radiating black and red spines form a sea urchin sunburst around the ball, with curved white text below reading "SEA URCHINS." Flanking the design, white text reads "NEW JERSEY" on the left and "ESTD 1914" on the right.
