A. Sabella's Fish Grotto anchored Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco from the 1920s through decades of waterfront life. Born from the immigrant fishing families who built the Wharf into a destination, it became inseparable from the neighborhood itself. Generations of San Franciscans marked milestones at those tables overlooking the bay.
