The Brainerd Blues brought professional baseball to Brainerd, Minnesota in the 1930s as members of the Northern League, a regional circuit that showcased small town talent across the Upper Midwest. With a name that echoed both the team’s uniform color and the soulful spirit of the era, the Blues gave local fans a reason to cheer during the heart of the Depression.
