Cocoa Beach Fliers took the diamond in 1941, playing out of Fort Pierce, Florida, during a time when small-town baseball was woven into the fabric of everyday life. Minor league clubs like these gave coastal communities something to rally around before television changed everything. Some teams are remembered not for championships, but for the era they carried. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
The Details:
Distressed golden-tan arched block text reads "COCOA BEACH" with a small baseball icon near the top right. Large vintage script lettering reads "Fliers" with a sweeping cursive swoosh underneath, above smaller text reading "est. 1941." Block text at the bottom reads "FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA."
