San Leandro's Grapevines took the diamond in 1910 as part of the Central California League. Class D ball meant everything to small East Bay towns built on orchards and vineyards. Clubs like the Grapevines bound communities together long before big league expansion ever reached the West Coast.
Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
