Tonga Room has been transporting San Francisco visitors to a tropical paradise since opening inside the Fairmont Hotel in 1945. Born from a converted indoor swimming pool, it became one of the most beloved tiki bars in America. Few places anywhere have kept the spirit of midcentury Polynesian dining alive for nearly eight decades.
