Albany's Rollers took the field in 1904 as part of Oregon's Class D State League, a small Willamette Valley town with big ambitions. Minor league ball in that era was the lifeblood of communities too small for the big stage but too proud to sit out. Teams like the Rollers gave Albany something to rally around. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
