Jesup's Bees buzzed through the Georgia State League as a Class D club starting in 1950, putting a small south Georgia town on the minor league map. In an era when tiny communities fielded their own teams, Jesup, Georgia gave its people something to rally around on warm summer nights.
Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
