Binghamton's Bingos played in the Eastern League in 1892, a brief but proud chapter in upstate New York minor league history. Small industrial cities like Binghamton lived and died with their ball clubs in those years. Every summer evening, the diamond gave working families something to believe in beyond the factory floor.
