Schenectady's Blue Jays took the field in 1946, joining the Canadian-American League during postwar baseball's golden surge. Minor league ball meant everything to small industrial cities in upstate New York back then. Teams like this gave working families something to believe in on warm summer nights. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
