Wellsville, New York fielded its Braves starting in 1953, part of a proud minor league tradition across western New York's small towns. Allegany County families packed the ballpark on summer nights, making it the center of community life. Long after the franchise faded, those memories held the town together. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
The Details:
Distressed golden-yellow arched serif text reads "WELLSVILLE" above large bold serif lettering reading "BRAVES" with a swooping pennant tail extending from the final letter.
